I love having handstand competitions with my little sister.
Can you recount a student of yours who experienced a major “lightbulb” moment when you were with them?
I had a cautious swimmer, who would scare when she was far from the island. We were working on building confidence and learning side-breath. I told her that if she ever can’t get a large enough breath on her side to flip to breathe.
This student recently came back from vacation where she went swimming. She had fallen in the water, and was able to successfully flip over, breathe, and get back out safely. When she shared this story she was not fearful, but proud of herself. She has come so far and continues to grow!
