Our Scholarship Application Process

All are welcome to apply for a scholarship!  The FOSS Scholarship Fund provides need-based assistance based on demonstrated family financial need and availability of funds. Funds are limited at each location on a first-come, first-served basis for application reviewing.

To continue to be a part of our scholarship program, we have a few requirements:

Minimum 80% Attendance

Scholarship recipients must attend at least 80% of their classes in Learn-to-Swim.

Feedback Requirements

We will send a survey to be completed by the end of the quarter. These results help improve the program.

Learn to Swim Program

Scholarships are only for once-a-week Group Lessons in our Learn-to-Swim Program.

You may only use the scholarship discount to enroll approved, eligible students. Students who were not included in the application or were listed as ineligible may not be enrolled using the scholarship discount.

If a scholarship discount is applied to an ineligible student, FOSS reserves the right to cancel the enrollment and issue a refund.

We’re making swim lessons accessible to more families through our partnerships with a variety of support agencies. If your family is connected with an agency that offers financial assistance for activities like swim lessons, you may be able to use those funds with us.

To use agency funds for lessons, please understand that the payment arrangements are already in place between the agency and our swim school. These funds are specifically for swim lessons, and our standard lesson fees apply.

For new agencies looking to support families with swim lesson opportunities, please contact us at [email protected].
