How long have you worked for FOSS?
I have worked with FOSS for 12 years. I first came here as a parent in 2003 when my daughter began swimming lessons, then started working as part-time office staff. I became an office manager in 2007. I think of FOSS as part of my family.
What is your favorite part of working for FOSS?
It is gratifying to assist families with any type of scheduling or swimming issue. I’ve never been an instructor, but my work helping kids get access to our swim classes is an important part of the overall FOSS experience. As a mom myself, I understand what it means to have a schedule that works for the family. I look forward to coming to work. The people that I work with and our families that swim with us make it all worthwhile.
What is your favorite water activity?
I enjoy any activity on or around water. Everything from boating or beach bumming to snorkeling, swimming and most recently, stand up paddleboarding.
What was your experience with water like growing up?
I’ve never swum competitively, but as a child, I was always involved in swimming lessons. I’m a firm believer that learning to swim is an essential life skill. When it came time for my children to have lessons, FOSS was the only choice I considered.
