Foss Swim School was built on the idea that learning to swim well is important for safety, a big part of healthy child development, and a gateway to a lot of fun for swimmers and their families. FOSS is purpose-built — we teach swimming, nothing else. Our teachers are selected for their ability to connect with kids, and trained in our custom curriculum, crafted over 25 years by our co-founder, Jon Foss.
It takes more than a single session. Like any school, success comes from progression and repetition. It’s why we operate differently than other swim programs, with quarter-long swim classes where kids are grouped by age and ability so they learn alongside peers.
