Family Swims
Have some fun in the pool as a family. Family Swims are open to all families, enrolled or not enrolled in classes. It’s a great way to check out your local Foss Swim School. Find your school and ask our team for details and availability.
Swim with our gear:
FOSS pool equipment including noodles, barbells, dive rings and tub toys are available for use. Goggles too!
What to bring:
Don’t forget your suit and towel! You can also bring small toys; just be aware the lifeguards reserve the right to remove toys that impair the experience of other swimmers or present a safety issue.
Family Swim rules:
- All swimmers must be accompanied by a responsible adult in the water.
- There must be 1 responsible adult in the water for every 2 children in a family.
- Children under the age of 3 are required to wear a reusable swim diaper.

Fun Meets
Fun Meets are a fun, non-competitive swim meet experience, where swimmers can demonstrate their progress and skills. Sign up in advance by contacting your school to have your swimmer(s) added to the event.

Who can participate:
Any swimmer in a Little 1 level or above, who is comfortable with water on their face and can swim with or without assistance, is welcome to participate. Teachers will be in the water to assist and encourage swimmers.
Age and level balanced:
Kids will swim with others working on similar FOSS Swim Path™ skills.
Ribbons for all swimmers:
Celebrate their progress!
Skill Clinics
Skill Clinics are an extra opportunity for students to focus on a small number of skills. Teachers will lead the group in drills and games from floating to mastering a butterfly kick. Sign up at your school to participate.
Extra practice between classes:
Reinforce the skills your student is currently learning.
A little extra help:
For swimmers who want to focus on one skill or master a skill, a clinic can help them progress on their Swim Path™.
