Enroll in a Swim School Built for Learning, Not Billing

Why the FOSS way is better than the recurring-monthly-charge-whether-you-swim-or-not way

Foss Swim School has learned a thing or three since we were founded by Jon and Susan Foss in 1993. Our proven and unique swim curriculum is designed to teach kids to swim using techniques proven in education systems worldwide – like teaching in quarters.

Our program not only teaches a skill, but fosters confidence, encourages social and mental development, promotes healthy activity and is fun and comfortable for kids to boot. We never compromise our learning environment for the “convenience” of recurring charges and drop-ins.

Why is FOSS Swim School better?

Quarterly Classes and Tuition

In regular classes with the same kids and teachers (as often as is possible save sickness and the like), kids get consistency, build relationships and get the repetition they need to truly master swimming. Plus, you pay when you swim, not monthly on a subscription.

Proven Curriculum Since 1993

We are experts at teaching swimming. Our methods and program have been refined by our co-founders over a quarter century from the results of successful competitive coaching and the experience of raising 5 children of their own. The results of hundreds of thousands of swimmers show it works and works well.

Flexibility that Doesn’t Compromise Learning

Good flexibility: The option to choose quarterly classes or 2 or 4 week camps where lessons occur more than once a week, or even to take a break – like a school.

Bad flexibility: Dropping kids into a new group with a different instructor and different kids on the whim of schedule from week to week.
