We are extending COVID related credits* based on the current restrictions in place in many of our communities.
Throughout this year, we’ve been actively enforcing measures outlined in our Safety First Plan, in accordance with local guidelines and implementing recommendations from the CDC and state health departments. We are grateful to all who have swum with us this year. It has been wonderful to be learning together, getting our wiggles out and practicing our safety turns and generally loving water together. Yet we have also heard from some of you that you are not yet ready to swim. We understand!
We are writing today to announce an adjustment to the expiration of COVID related credits.
Previously, any COVID related credits issued in 2020 needed to be redeemed by the end of 2020 for enrollments extending through Winter 2021. Effective Tuesday November 24, 2020, we are extending the redemption period on COVID related credits by three months—for an updated expiration date of March 31, 2021, OR 150 days from the date of issuance—whichever is greater. COVID credits with expiration dates after March 31, 2021 will not be affected by this action. This extension empowers the use of these credits for Spring Quarter 2021 enrollments!
You do not need to take action as a result of this change. Adjustments will be made starting November 24 and be completed by November 27 and reflected in your FOSS Family Account. *What is a COVID Credit?
The COVID credits being extended relate specifically to missed classes based on COVID-19 and are not related to other activities (promos, customer service, etc.).
If you already have credits
If you have covid credits on your account from Spring Quarter 2020-on, you don’t need to take any action. We will be updating the expiration on your credits to March 31, giving you more flexibility in deciding what is the appropriate timing for your family.
If you’re currently enrolled and classes are canceled
You will be issued credits for any COVID-related missed classes, and will have 150 days from the date the credit is issued to redeem them.
