How long have you worked for FOSS?
I have worked at FOSS for almost 3 years!

What is your favorite part of working for FOSS?
I love meeting all the families and making connections with the swimmers. Watching them grow and progress over the years is amazing!

What is your favorite FOSS story?
My Favorite FOSS memory is during the Spring 2018 session on Sunday mornings, I had two little boys who would run in the front door and come give me a hug before they would go into class. They would run in and say, “Good morning, Mrs. Becca! Hugs time!” They would not go in to change until I greeted them. I had known these boys since I started at FOSS 2 years prior!

What is your favorite skill to teach and why?
I love doing kicks with the kids. They are so proud of themselves when they beat me in a race or splash mom and dad.

As a child, how did you feel about the water?
Growing up I was always in the water. I was born in Virginia Beach and was introduced to the water/ocean at a very young age. My dad was a lifeguard when he was younger and was in the Navy when I was a baby so I was ALWAYS around water growing up.

What is your personal favorite water activity?
I love surfing and paddleboarding! Growing up I spent my summers in California and was constantly out in the ocean.
