FOSS-St. Louis Park Fab 5!!
They’re Grade A
We would like to thank…
Chad Erickson - I came back to FOSS after an 8 year hiatus and absolutely love it. The atmosphere is extremely positive and focused on greatness. I grew up being in and around water (as many of us in MN do) and do my best to share the excitement of swimming with the children I teach. One of my favorite parts of teaching is when a child comes to class who may not be in the best spirits and I can make a connection, give them some laughs and turn them around after 30 minutes so they leave with a smile on their face.
Jen Krenner – I was born in Minneapolis, Mn. I love to bake and go out to eat at new restaurants… Yum! I can honestly say I love teaching at FOSS for many different reasons. When I go to work it’s like working with family who appreciate you and help you grow not only as a person but as a teacher a little more every time you’re here. Thank you to all the children who work so hard and make me smile every day, they are the reason I get so much joy out of teaching and they are the superstars!
Lindsey Kennedy - I was born in SLP but grew up in rural Buffalo, MN. My passion for swimming started right away as a baby with the lake in my back yard and I started competitively swimming at the age of 6. In my spare time you will find me doing any outdoor activity, especially involving the lake in the summer time, otherwise traveling is a passion of mine. Some day I hope to have an adventure to every continent and/or state. FOSS has been a big part of my life for the past 3 1/2 years and my love for it continues to grow! Watching a kid put their face in for the first time, swimming all by themself for the first time or even beating their fastest personal record is the most rewarding feedback you can ask for in a job! I LOVE IT! Thanks again!
Clarence Vann - Hello FOSS Families! My name is Clarence and I’m from Milwaukee, WI. I’ve been in Minnesota for 5 yrs. in February. The time surely did fly. I have always enjoyed the water since I was little, which was a very long time ago. I really like Minneapolis for it’s bike paths so I’m always riding my bike, when weather permits, and I love to go visiting family and friends in different states!! I really like teaching at FOSS because I’m a big kid. Where can you have so much fun in the water and its your job?!? I really like to see the children come in and scared of the water, and by the end of the session, they’re flying across the pool. That’s what’s its all about. Thank you for allowing me to be part of the FAB 5!
Robert McDonald - My name is Robert McDonald. I grew up in Edina, Minnesota and have been a swimmer my whole life. When I am not teaching at FOSS I love to be outside kayaking, biking, sailing and swimming. I love going to the movies and I love to travel. Becoming a teacher at FOSS has been one of the greatest choices I have ever made. The children are so much fun and teaching them is a great way to stay young in spirit. When I was shadowing, before I became a teacher, I was helping with a little girl and I asked her why she was such a good swimmer. She looked at me, smiled, and said “Because I eat goldfish.” I have never looked back!
