Our Staff – Savage
Ready. Set! Monkey-cheeks!!
Will Clawson – Hi! My name is William Clawson and I have been teaching swimming lessons at Foss for over 6 years now. I absolutely love teaching swimming, and getting to make a personal connection with each of my students. Although I teach every level, from the Backfloat baby classes all the way up to the Swim Team classes, I think that the classes with the beginner swimmers are my favorite. Helping someone conquer their fear of swimming and find a new sport that they enjoy is the most rewarding part of this job!
John Franceschelli – Hey gang! John from Foss in Savage here! I love being a part of the learning equation, either helping my students master their abilities, or being taught something by them or their families (especially from my multi-lingual families, i love learning new words and phrases!) I also enjoy being a story – teller. Relating to parents what their ‘Pride and Joy’ have accomplished, or even the time that i saved Gotham City from the clutches of the Nefarious Joker, or when i was chosen to wield Mjolnir, the hammer of THOR! Maybe I would tell you of the time that I saved the world by making an EPIC trek to Mount Doom, where I tossed the ONE RING into the fires! (That was a rough trip, let me tell you!) More recently I married that princess, I am quite sure you saw that on the telly. Do Good, Stay Safe, and SMILE! I may not always teach Swim Lessons, but when I do, I teach at Foss Swim School.
Jasen Laserud – Hey Everybody, I’m Jasen and I’m the Site Director of Foss Swim School in Savage. I grew up in the great community of Richfield MN, where I just bought a house. I Have been with the company for 3 fantastic years, and I wound up here through a good buddy whom I met on tour with my band. When I have free time I enjoy playing music, hanging out with my family, and friends, and eating skittles. See you in the pool.
Enid Marvel-Gnos – Outside of work I like to spend time with the family boating, fishing and of course swimming. I love working at Foss because I grew up swimming it has always been a big part of my life. My parents put me in a Tots program as an infant then swim lessons and I began competitive swimming at age 8. I was a Lifeguard and swim teacher while attending college and now at FOSS I am still doing something I love to do. I would have to say my proudest accomplishment to date is becoming a first time Mom at age 40 (I certainly didn’t want to rush anything) and surviving 11 Minnesota winters!
Brigitte Tiarks – Hello, my name is Brigitte. I was born in Romania and grew up in Florida where I learned to swim at a very young age. My family moved to Eden Prairie when I started high school. I joined the synchronized swim my sophomore year in high school and it was the perfect sport for me!!! My husband and I have been married for 2 years. We love going to musicals, being outside (especially in the fall!) or road tripping to visit family and friends. In my free time I enjoy scrapbooking or settling down with a great book. I have been with Foss for 7 years. I started out at our St Louis Park location and then transferred to Savage as the Office Manager. My favorite part of working at Foss is just being around to listen to all the hilarious things kids say. I love getting to know our families and seeing them when they come to swim each week. See you at the pool!
