Mike Lovich – I grew up as a small town boy in the Valley of the Green Giant. I love to spend my free time outside camping, hunting, fishing, gardening, or sitting by a bonfire. Cooking is my secret hobby that keeps my looking for new things to try. I love my job because when I am having a bad day all I have to do is walk on the pool deck and play with some kids for a while to cheer me up!  This winter I started writing a memoir about my grandfather and his pond, and hope to finish it soon. My goal for the next year is to travel outside of the country.

Lorrie Hammer – Lorrie started working at FOSS in 2001. She started at the St. Louis Park site and then went to Maple Grove when it opened. She is a Shift Coordinator, Tots Trainer, and instructor. Lorrie likes to see bands play at small venues and laugh with friends. She likes to go boating and attempt to wakeboard. Lorrie also likes to read fashion magazines and buy shoes. She enjoys working with kids because they say funny things.

Ryan Olson – Ryan was born in Coon Rapids, MN. In 2005, he graduated from St. Francis High School. He started at the Foss Swim School in Blaine in 2007. He then transferred to Maple Grove in 2009 where he took on the role as a full time Shift Coordinator. What Ryan likes about working at FOSS is that every day is different. In his leisure time, Ryan enjoys long walks on the beach and kickin’ it old school. His peers would describe him as energetic, out-going, and completely petrified of spiders!

Rachael Skoog – Rachael is from Crystal, MN and currently lives in Otsego, MN. Rachael started competitive swimming at the age of six and has been teaching swimming lessons for over 10 years. She has been with FOSS since 2004. Outside of work, Rachael likes to spend time four wheeling, geo-caching and hanging out at the cabin with her husband, Ryan. She also loves interior design and celebrity gossip. Rachael loves working for FOSS because she gets to play with kids everyday!

Becky Steinkopf – Becky started with Foss Swim School over 8 years ago when the Chanhassen pool opened. She moved to the St Louis Park pool to become the office manager shortly after that & then moved to the Maple Grove pool when it opened in 2002. Becky lives in Otsego with her husband Jesse. She loves the area because on one side of the street is a corn field but on the other side is Target. It’s the best of both worlds! Becky loves summer because of the beautiful summer weather & all of the outdoor activities. She loves to go boating, golfing, playing bean bags & hanging out with friends on a nice warm summer day!
